In Minsk region, it is planned to build 17 dairy farms in 2022. Vasily Sysoev, Chairman of the Agriculture and Food Committee of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, told reporters about this, BelTA has learned.

In Minsk regionб today there is an acute problem of the death of livestock, which leads to a reduction in meat and dairy products. In order to solve it, the region is implementing a program to support agricultural enterprises, which is aimed at building new agricultural facilities, improving conditions for keeping young animals and dairy herds.

“Today it is difficult for a farm that does not have a lot of revenue to build a modern dairy farm or another important facility in a short time. In order for them to build facilities with good conditions for the herd and start working effectively, we allocate funds for specific purposes. For example, for the design of a farm, the purchase of materials for construction and equipment. All the rest of the work is often done by the enterprises themselves. So, thanks to this program, by the end of this year, 44 new objects will be commissioned in the Minsk region, including 5 dairy farms. year we plan to build 17 dairy farms ", - said Vasily Sysoev.

To date, the facilities that will be built next year are being designed. They will appear in Slutsk, Soligorsk, Lyubansky, Kopyl, Kletsk districts. It is planned that in total 17 thousand heads of cattle will be kept there. "We are building farms for 800, and in the future for 1-2 thousand. Heads. These are large premises with conditions that allow animals to feel comfortable and give good results in milk yield of at least 7 thousand liters," the chairman of the committee emphasized.

Today, there are slightly more than 320 thousand head of cattle on farms in the Minsk region. The capital region reaches 6 thousand liters of milk yield from one cow.
