President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visited the Regional Clinical Hospital

The head of state got acquainted with the work of the hospital in the conditions of coronavirus and visited the red zone, where patients with COVID-19 are being treated.

The chief doctor of the hospital, Alexander Linkevich, reported to the President that 203 patients are being treated in the infectious wards of the hospital, of which 21 are in serious condition, 11 patients are on mechanical ventilation.

Infection departments are deployed on the basis of rheumatological, pulmonological, neurological, nephrological, cardiological and surgical departments. In addition, the clinic has allocated 22 intensive care beds for COVID patients on the basis of the department of anesthesiology and intensive care.

In July 2020, the clinic began providing medical care to patients with coronavirus infection. 

In 2020, 628 people were treated. For 9 months 2021 - 1013 people. 220 beds have been allocated for the treatment of patients with probable / confirmed coronavirus infection. 

To provide oxygen support to patients of moderate severity, there are 151 oxygen points in repurposed institutions, 16 oxygen concentrates. Medical care is provided to patients not only with coronavirus, but also with concomitant pathologies.
