Soligorsk team never ceases to amaze on the transfer front. A Russian forward with vast experience of playing in the Continental Hockey League was signed.

31-year-old striker Maxim Trunev played 443 matches in the KHL, gaining 118 (62 + 56) points in them. He played for Severstal, Lokomotiv, Admiral, Neftekhimik, Spartak and Traktor. In the 2016/2017 season with 17 goals, he became Severstal's top scorer.

Another bright page in his biography was his choice in the NHL draft in 2008 by the great club Montreal Canadiens in the fifth round under the overall 138th number.

It is interesting that just a few days ago he could have ended up in Grodno, but preferred a more profitable option in Soligorsk.
