President instructed to plant shelterbelts along roads

It is necessary to plant shelterbelts along the roads, as was done previously. This was announced on April 26, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko visits Kozyrskogo Logoysky forestry forestry, BelTA has learned.

"In all these high slopes (for roads - approx. BelTA) should be planted pine, and let it grow along the road. It's still the economy. It is not necessary to take care of this band. And so weeds growing - twice a year, like it or not it need to mow, "- said the President of Belarus.

The head of state reminded that such shelterbelts were planted along the road, but then some of them were cut down.
