JSC "BelAZ" has set in Morocco, the first bulldozers to work on phosphate mining, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Industry of Belarus.

"The company has consistently and steadily expanding its supply of one of the most promising global mining markets - in Africa. In May, wheel dozers BelAZ-78231 have been shipped to the state company OCP in Morocco", - told the experts. The company will purchase Belarusian machinery is engaged in production of phosphate fertilizers and other African countries.

Overall, Morocco has significant reserves of phosphates, copper, gold and silver.

According to the press service of BelAZ-78231 is designed for mechanization of excavation and extraction of soils in open pits at large construction sites. Appliances equipped with an engine Cummins KTA19-C capacity of 360 kW, hydromechanical transmission (4 + 4) with electro-hydraulic gear, a microprocessor system of automatic control, monitoring and security. Complete with quick-charging Wiggins, air conditioning increased productivity. The maximum speed that can develop a bulldozer is 25 km/h.
