Production and Training Center "Herbal medicine of the 21st century" will be created in the Minsk region, BelTA learned from an expert on the media agency for the protection of nature, "the environmental area" Olga Lelyukova.
"Herbal medicine of the 21st century" will appear on the territory of Myadel district, Minsk region. The initiative is carried out under the project "Facilitating the transition of the Republic of Belarus to the" green "economy", financed by the European Union and implemented by the UN Development Programme.
The project involves the creation of the territory of the excursion and tourist complex "Apothecary Garden" complex, which will house the line for the primary processing of harvested wild medicinal raw material (Centre for the collection of wild medicinal plants), as well as raw material storage warehouse. For the production of the center "Herbal medicine of the 21st century" will be acquired by the high-tech drying chamber with capacity up to 10 tons per day.
The initiative is carried out by the institution of nature protection "environmental field" with the support of JV "Three Lakes". "Implementation of the project on the territory of Myadel district will attract the local population to the collection of wild medicinal plants. For these purposes, SOOO" Three Lakes "is planned to purchase 200 tool kits to collect native plant raw materials for local residents. The collected medicinal plants the company buys from individuals at prices , recorded at the beginning of the initiative, "- said the expert.
In addition, it provides for the development of training programs for collectors of medicinal plants, as well as individual training programs for center visitors with the EU experience and expert judgment. During the period of implementation of the project for interested local residents will be a series of introductory seminars and round tables for the collection of wild medicinal plants and herbal medicine, where experts will tell reception what plants will be carried out center will be acquainted with the proper technique and the optimal time of collection and drying of raw materials. To the students will be actively involved, for this audience also planned a series of training sessions.
"It will be several round tables with the participation of the media and the public for the promotion and sustainable continuation of the initiative ideas. We hope that the local population free of charge with the knowledge and skills for the collection and harvesting of wild medicinal plants, as well as income after the sale of collected materials.
