New head coach of the hockey club "Shakhtar" Belarusian expert appointed Vladimir Tsyplakov, BelTA learned from the press service of the team.

Known in the past hockey player, one of the leaders of the national hockey team, replaced Andrew Gusov, who led the miners since the founding of the hockey club in Salihorsk. Vladimir Zyplakov during playing career has been one of the leading forwards in the Belarusian hockey. He is the world champion in the youth team of the USSR, played seven seasons a player in the NHL, where in the "Los Angeles Kings" has spent 256 matches. After an exchange in "Buffalo" for half of the season added to his score of 35 (14 + 21) points in 84 games. After returning from overseas in his record performance of "Ak Bars" and CSKA Moscow.
