Sochi 2014 Olympic champion Anton Kushnir will have to miss the 6th Aerials World Cup which is due to take place in Raubichi

Sochi 2014 Olympic champion Anton Kushnir will have to miss the 6th Aerials World Cup which is due to take place in Raubichi on 25 February, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Sports and Tourism Ministry.

The leader of the Belarusian national team is currently undergoing a profound health checkup in order to be fully recovered and ready to perform for the national team. After five world cups Anton Kushnir goes second with the total of 306 points. Chinese ace Guangpu Qi leads the chart with 360 points. Mac Bohonnon of the United States is third with 230 points. Fourth goes Maksim Gustik of Belarus with 180 points. Stanislav Gladchenko of Belarus has 147 points and the 6th position.

Representing Belarus at the Aerials World Cup in Raubichi will be Maksim Gustik, Stanislav Gladchenko Artyom Bashlakov, Dmitry Mazurkevich, Pavel Dik and Ilya Gorelik. The Belarusian women's team will comprise Aleksandra Romanovskaya, Anna Guskova, Anna Roslik and Vera Lyashkevich.

Raubichi will welcome nearly 70 aerial skiers from 12 countries.
