South Korean biathletes hold pre-Olympic training camp at Raubichi

The South Korean biathletes opened the training camp near Minsk on 27 September

The South Korea men's and women's biathlon national teams are holding a pre-Olympic training camp at the Raubichi sport center, BelTA has learned.

The South Korean biathletes opened the training camp near Minsk on 27 September. The Korean team includes 12 athletes. The track at the Belarusian winter sport center is similar to that in Pyeongchang that will be hosting the 23rd Winter Olympic Games on 9-26 February 2018. The training camp of the South Korea near Minsk will last through 13 October.

The 2017-2018 biathlon season will kick off with the IBU Cup Biathlon 1 in Sjusjoen, Norway on 23 November. BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 1 will start in Oestersund on 26 November. The biathlon tournament at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang on 10-23 February. The tournament will envisage 11 medal events.
