A shopping mall for environmentally friendly products is being built near Minsk

Farm watermelon, rustic chicken, homemade milk. Many consumers are willing to overpay for products with such labels

Five years ago nobody believed in “Belarusian watermelon”. But the culture was malleable. And not only she ... blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cranberries, nuts - for the southern regions of the country is no longer exotic. However, not all city supermarkets can boast of stalls that say “farm”, “natural”, “environmentally friendly”. Products with such markings should be registered in the future at the eco-market near the capital.

The eco-market will be located on the outskirts of Minsk along the Logoisk road on the M3 highway. It will be located near the village of Valeryanovo. Work there already lead.

The market will be located in a four-story building with an area of 20 thousand square meters. It is supposed to equip a car parking and a playground.

The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in the current year.

The market will sell not only farm products, but also dairy, meat products of many Belarusian enterprises, as well as kosher products. The market has a special laboratory that will check the environmental cleanliness of goods.
