Minsk Oblast farms complete the first grass mowing

On the fields of Minsk Oblast, farmers are completing the first grass mowing, Belarus 1 reports.

So, in one of the agricultural enterprises of Nesvizh district, about 70% of the area has already been developed - about 150 hectares daily. From the fields remove ryegrass, festulolium and alfalfa. They do everything quickly so that the green mass does not overripe and retain its nutritional value. First, the crop is wilted in the fields, then sent to haylage trenches.

By the way, they plan to provide at least one and a half year supply of feed - about 20 thousand for 4 cuttings. According to the work schedule, the first mowing will be completed this week, and the fourth at the end of September.
