The branch trade union of Minsk region has allocated more than Br1.1 million to support doctors since the beginning of the pandemic

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the branch trade union of Minsk region, together with primary trade union organizations, has allocated about Br1.166.000 for material assistance to employees of health care institutions, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers.

At the same time, almost Br1.054.000 of the total amount were transferred to healthcare workers of Minsk region who have undergone COVID-19. About Br112,000 more were spent on the purchase of PPE and various equipment for eating rooms for medical workers in health care institutions near the capital.

In particular, from the trade union budget of Borisov Central Regional Hospital since the beginning of the pandemic, about Br37.000 were sent to 406 workers who suffered from COVID-19, and about Br37.000 were sent to 95 hospital workers - members of the trade union during this period, material assistance was provided for almost Br54.000 at the expense of the Republican Committee of the Belarusian Regional Hospital. These figures were given by the chairman of the trade union committee of the united trade union organization of the Borisov Central Regional Hospital Olga Kanashevich during a trade union reporting conference held at the enterprise.
